Laura Schenkel’s is a seasoned Financial Operations and Accounting leader with expertise in managing complex accounting and reporting tasks. His strategic mindset and deep understanding of financial systems enable her to provide valuable guidance and insights to executive decision-makers. Laura has served as the Chief Financial Officer at a higher education foundation where he managed over $70 million in assets. His responsibilities included auditing, budgeting, financial analysis, capital asset management, and payroll. His strategic vision helped the foundation achieve its financial objectives.
Before the foundation, Laura held key positions at other nonprofits, manufacturing companies, and commercial distributors, where she led process improvements, drove efficiencies, optimized budgeting, and increased cost savings. His expertise in accounting, data analysis and risk management have allowed him to implement innovative strategies that aligned with each organization’s goals.
Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Scranton.
